The Iraqi Orphan Care Organization (IOCO) is a
non-governmental-organization which helps orphans.
This organization relieves poverty among the Iraqi Orphans. They help the
orphans by giving them support.
They give medical care and physical treatment.
Another organization which helps orphans is the Yokohama International
Woman's Club (YIWC).
They help support the Yamate School For The Blind. They also donate food
and clothing for the homeless.
The orphans they support live in 4 buildings built 30 years ago about
10-12 orphans in each building.
With the help of Yokohama International School (Y.I.S.) there is a
chirstmas party every year. YWIC also provides presents on the orphan's
birthdays or when they graduate.
